1. Who we are

This website (dazed.london) runs the signup and presale for the Dazed · 13th Birthday event at Eutopia Warehouse, Barking, on Saturday 26 September 2026. The event is presented by Dazed (the promoter) at Eutopia Warehouse, operated by Blackhorse Events Holdings Limited (company no. 13364849), registered office Raydean House, 15 Western Parade, Barnet, Hertfordshire EN5 1AH, trading as Eutopia Warehouse. Dazed and Eutopia Warehouse together act as the data controllers responsible for the personal data collected through this site.

Information we derive: every new signup is tagged at the "Lead" stage in our marketing system so we can tell who has registered interest. We do not build profiling, scoring or predictive models about you.

Directly from you when you submit the signup form. We also use Seeka, a measurement platform, to measure the performance of our advertising: it collects site activity and forwards it to Meta (Facebook) on our behalf. This tracking runs by default when you visit. To stop it you can use an ad-blocker or privacy extension, block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or opt out at the platform level in your Meta Ad Preferences. See §8. If your browser sends "Global Privacy Control" or "Do Not Track", we detect it and the tracking does not load at all.

If you choose to join the event's WhatsApp community, your phone number and WhatsApp profile name become visible to others in that group, and your participation is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Joining is entirely optional.

Your data is held for this event by Dazed and Eutopia Warehouse and the processors above only. It is not shared with or sold to any other promoter.

7. Advertising audiences

We may upload hashed (one-way encrypted) versions of your email address or phone number to Meta to create "custom audiences" for promoting this event, and to build "lookalike" audiences of similar people. The data is hashed before it leaves us and is matched against existing platform users. You can opt out by emailing info@eutopiawhs.com.

The advertising identifiers are managed by Seeka and shared with Meta through both browser and server channels, using shared event IDs so each action is only counted once, not twice.

You can also email info@eutopiawhs.com and we will remove your data. Disabling cookies may affect how the site works.

9. Where your data goes (international transfers)

Your data is stored and processed in the EU (Brevo, France) and the UK (Dazed, Eutopia Warehouse). Some providers process data in the United States (Meta, Vercel, Google) and Australia (Seeka). Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision (UK–EU), the EU–US / UK–US Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses / the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as appropriate.

10. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as you remain subscribed — that is, until you withdraw consent, unsubscribe, or ask us to delete it. We use it to keep you updated about this event and similar Dazed and Eutopia Warehouse events. We review our marketing lists periodically and remove contacts who are no longer engaged. Aggregated, anonymised statistics that cannot identify you may be kept longer.

Signing up gives consent for all three channels at once — there is a single tick box on the form, not a per-channel choice. You can withdraw consent on any channel independently at any time, and opting out of one does not opt you out of the others:

12. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@eutopiawhs.com; we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint — though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

All traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit (TLS). Your data at rest in Brevo is encrypted by that provider. Access is restricted to named members of the event team on a need-to-know basis.

14. Data breaches

If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to risk your rights and freedoms, we will report it to the ICO within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and notify you directly where the law requires.

15. Children

This service and event are intended for people aged 21 and over. If we learn we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete it.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date and version at the top of this page identify the current version; material changes will be notified to current subscribers by email.
